When Vision Feels Fuzzy: What to Do in the In-Between

You ever feel like you’re just floating between chapters?

Like… you’re not who you were, not quite who you’re becoming, and everything feels kind of foggy?

Welcome to the in-between.

This space used to scare me. I’m a doer. A driver. A woman who likes a clear vision and a plan to match.

But what I’ve learned is that the fuzziness isn’t a failure—it’s a necessary pause.

It’s where soul and strategy meet for coffee and say, “Let’s get real.”

When my vision feels fuzzy, here’s what I do:

  • I slow down.

  • I journal without needing a breakthrough.

  • I go outside and touch the ground.

  • I ask God to show me what I’m not seeing.

  • And sometimes… I go into ChatGPT (yes, seriously) and let it interview me like a wise friend.

Because here’s the truth:

Fuzzy doesn’t mean broken.

It means your inner voice is trying to get a word in.

It means you’re being invited into deeper alignment before the next right step can land.

This season of “not quite there yet”?

It’s not a punishment.

It’s a portal.

So if you’re in the in-between right now, here’s my advice:

  • Don’t panic.

  • Don’t power through.

  • Get quiet enough to hear what your soul’s been whispering all along.

Sometimes, the best thing you can do for your vision…
is give it space to breathe.

Let it find you.

With clarity and grace,
Jessica
